The Story Behind...

The section of the website that can be seen here in this blog, and on almost every page of the site. It has the purpose of explaining how an image was captured, or if there was and special story behind the image that made it memorable to me.

My intention is to publish a new mini 'article' every week for either a shot on the land or a shot underwater.

I hope you enjoy reading about how the good (and sometimes bad) photos were taken.

Anthias Portrait These little 'goldfish' are always on the move, and very tough to shoot! It requires a lot of patience and pig-headedness to stay with one subject for the majority of your dive.  This was shot in the Northern Redsea and was one of about 50 images i took of these fish.

Chasing Dreams Sharks are normally pretty tough to get close to, but in the right conditions, they come close!

Here a Grey Reef Shark was swimming in between a group of divers in the Tuamotu Archipelago, French Polynesia.

Hyla bifurca This little Tree Frog Hyla bifurca was photographed in the upper Amazon, Ecuador. To get close to these critters i had to stand in knee to waist deep water that had baby Caimans and possible Anacondas in there!
