That just about wraps the month up, I headed over to Singapore for a few days and went shopping for some new camera equipment, Singapore is also teh head office for Scuba Diver Australasia. On the last Wednesday of the month, I headed over to the Philippines to meet up with Mike Veitch for our Photographic Workshop at Asia Divers in Peurto Gallera.

I met up with Mike at the airport after some confusion about terminals in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (I was right, he was wrong - end of!), and we headed down to Leah Beach in Batangas (~3.5 hours).  On the way down we had a good catch up and gossip about all of our old friends from the liveaboard days.

We had a relatively calm and pleasant cruise over to Peurto Galera, where upon arrival Allan Nash of Asia divers thrust San Miguel in our direction! It would appear that our arrival had coincided with their PADI Instructor Exam Passing Party! Thursday was spent with a minor hangover in the morning, causing much amusement as my headache/profuse sweating meant I momentarily forgot how to thread the webbing through my tank strap buckle.  5 years working in the diving industry and I'm forgetting everything!

We had a couple of nice dives to find critters for our students in the forthcoming workshop.  The on Thursday evening we met up with some of our old friends from PG and had a few drinks, after all, this was down time before the workshop! Somewhere in the evening we decided that a game of golf the next day would be a good idea, so read on in the June blog to see what happens!
