KBR Shootout

Simon was privilaged to have been a judge at the ScubaDiver Australasia Shootout held at Kungkungan Bay Resort in Lembeh, Indonesia.

The standard of images was outstanding, and it was a tense day of judging on the final day.

Congratulations to Indra, Dave and Ronnie for taking the top prizes.

These little 'goldfish' are always on the move, and very tough to shoot! It requires a lot of patience and pig-headedness to stay with one subject for the majority of your dive. This was shot in the Northern Redsea and was one of about 50 images i took of these fish.

This shot of a Hummingbird was taken in the Cloud Forest of Ecuador, it took several hours of patient waiting with the camera and heavy telephoto lens. I shot about a hundred photos, but this one jumped out to me when i got back to my laptop, and is the only image i have used from the set.
