This picture of Scalloped Hammerheads (Sphyrna lewini) was shot in Cocos Island, Costa Rica.  We were having a bad week for hammerheads, and hadn't seen many, but fortunately I found this group by wandering off on my own at a divesite called Alcyone.

This shot of a Hummingbird was taken in the Cloud Forest of Ecuador, it took several hours of patient waiting with the camera and heavy telephoto lens. I shot about a hundred photos, but this one jumped out to me when i got back to my laptop, and is the only image i have used from the set.
