We had a bit of relax time (computer time for the photographers)  that afternoon, before starting the diving the next day in Menjangen National Park, a 20 minute drive and then 40 minute boat ride from Pemuteran bay.  As this was an exploratory trip for all of us on the trip, apart from out star guide Cornelius, we were all excited to be heading to Menjagen as we'd heard stories of the Blue Water and strong currents making this a beautiful location for photography.

On the first dive I took wideangle and saw some big, beautiful seafans on walls adorned with soft corals. The other guys also found 6 Pygmy Seahorses in one fan, fighting and headbutting each other! Typical! It always happens when you have your fisheye lens on!

Luckily they don't move far and i could return in a few days with my macro setup. The second dive was very similar to the first, but the water wasn't as blue and i had a fish follow me for the entire dive, and everytime i would raise my camera for a shot it would bite the reef above me and send a cloud of silt over my chosen subject! I was not amused!
