Once Jamie arrived we headed off to Pemuteran, stopping off at a location called Puri Jati along the way.  Puri Jati or PJ's as it is known in the diving world is an up-and-coming muck diving location with reports of mimic octopus (not that we saw any) and lots of cool critters in the sand.

Although we didn't have a very eventful dive i did see my first true Emperor Shrimp on a Sea Cucumber and some cool gobies on a purple soft coral. After the dive it was time to head to Singraja to stock up on snacks and visit a cool Photographic Store to see it they had some good rechargeable batteries for my Inon Z-22 ringflash - They did!

Upon arrival at Pemuteran we discovered, much to out contentment, that we would be staying at Taman Sari Villas. This is a beautifully styled villa resort, where the villas are privately owned but leased to the resort for the vast majority of the year.  Our Villa had it's own private swimming pool, two meditation temples and ponds in the bathroom!  Needless to say we were somewhat overawed at where we were staying!
