June Part 2 Print E-mail

On the 3rd June our inaugural DivePhotoFest Asia Divers Photography Workshop began and a great time was had by all of our students, we hope to see them again on one of our future courses. Mike has written a blog of the weeks events here . Throughout the workshop I was getting a lot of grief from the students about the state of my hair, so one night we decided it would be a good ide to get my hair cut, by one of the barmaids. In hindsight not a good idea!

A very unimpressed Simon getting scalpedFrom 5 days after the workshop I continued to dive with Asia Divers , revisiting all the best spots we had headed to with the students and taking pictures of the critters we'd found whilst not diving with our cameras.

After that I headed over to the Anilao region (2 hours by boat), well Mabini Point to be precise, to stay with some friends at Solana Bezo Resort. 5 days of awesome diving here and it was time to head back home and start writing, so onwards to Singapore!

In Singapore I headed to the shops again to buy myself a camera vest (Nikon of course!) to allow me to sneak more lenses and kit onto the plane in my carry on. Arriving home just in time for my friends wedding and my birthday ensured that June finished in the same manner as it started, with a headache!
